Helping Families Thrive

Midwest Healthy Start mobilizes the community to reduce infant mortality, improve infant health and increase maternal and newborn care. An initiative of SGA Youth & Family Services.

Welcome to Midwest Healthy Start

Midwest Healthy Start supports pregnant and new parents in ensuring their children are healthy and well cared for. Our goal is to reduce infant mortality rates in high-need communities through a holistic continuum of prenatal and post-natal services. We serve pregnant women, children ages 0-2 and their parents.

I can tell they care about me.

A Pregnant Woman

I’m happy with SGA services because they helped me with my son-to-be, and to do right things.

A New Mom

I feel very happy because Midwest Healthy Start has helped me all the way through my pregnancy and more.

A New Mom

Midwest Healthy Start gives me more information and tips about being a mother, and better explained the way the baby grows.

A New Mom

Midwest Healthy Start has helped out with finding jobs, doing extra curricular activities & helping my child learn new things. I would recommend this program to others so they could get the services they need.

A New Mom

I have learned many things for my child. It has helped me grow as a new mom. Midwest Healthy Start helped me teach my son many new things, I did not think they were possible.

A New Mom

I was provided with all the information I needed as well as any supplies towards my baby. I grew a whole lot more confident towards my parenting due to this program.

A Teen Mom
